I recently had a visit from a gentleman who was born in this house in 1932, he said that 6 of his sibblings had been born there prior to him, and another 3 after.
He said that his dad who worked at the Brickworks hand picked each brick that he used to build the home in about 1912.
A fond memory that Keith had as a child was to sit on the wide front verandah on a Sunday and count the number of cars travelling past on the then gravel road. He said a busy day was 20.
